Let’s take a look at the best settings for a YouTube Render out of Resolve 17! There are a few ways of thinking behind this, and to make an educated decision, I decided to do some SCIENCE!
So I spent the better part of a day making renders, uploading to YouTube, and then screen capturing them and pixel peeping. It was arduous, it was boring, it was…enlightening?
Basically, my findings are this:
If you have H.265, use that. Then upscale it to UHD to get the best quality for the smallest size.
